Across several provinces and was honoured with a certificate in recognition of its valued contribution and partnership.

On 5 December 2025 CITASA attended The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation 2024/2025 National Prestige Awards. At the event, representatives of the DPCI Stakeholder Relations and Marketing, Executive Support Service: Communication Services and CITASA were present. CITASA works with SAPS and the Hawks to combat cash-in-transit crimes. This initiative started in November 2023 and resulted in monthly joint social media posts.

The prevention of crime in South Africa, and specifically cash-in-transit robbery, is critical and requires a collaborative approach. CITASA’s support and participation in the National Safer Festive Season Launch Operations 2025 by the Minister of Police in Bloemfontein, Free State, significantly contributed to these crime prevention efforts.

The launch of the Safer Festive Season Operations was preceded by the opening of Sonskyn police station in Bloemfontein.

The Provincial Commissioner of Police launched the Gauteng Provincial Safer Festive Season Operations 2025 in Tsakane Stadium, Gauteng, on 17 October 2025. CITASA attended and supported this initiative as Gauteng is the highest-risk province for cash-in-transit robberies.
